Take my advice, offered about 20 pages back: charge $0.05 for your software. Unless it does bug tracking, in which case the correct price is $30,000,000. Thank you for your time, and I apologize for leaving you even less able to price software than you were when you started reading this.
Camels and Rubber Duckies – Joel on SoftwareHence, most people shouldn’t be prompting at all!
Natural Language Is an Unnatural Interface - by VarunWeak-form efficients market hypothesis is a good heuristic for evaluating the public markets but a really, really bad heuristic for evaluating either technical or economic facts about tech companies, startups, your career, etc etc. Optimizations are possible; fruit hangs low.

A Guide to Authentic Virtual SocietyWe expect ZK-native infrastructure providers to dominate non-stake based and high performance proving tasks

Decentralized Proving, Proof Markets, and ZK Infrastructure | by Figment Capital | Jun, 2023 | Mediumsaid that OpenAI was considering open-sourcing GPT-3. Part of the reason they hadn’t open-sourced yet was that he was skeptical of how many individuals and companies would have the capability to host and serve large LLMs
OpenAI's plans according to Sam AltmanOpenAI is extremely GPU-limited and this is delaying a lot of their short-term plans.
OpenAI's plans according to Sam AltmanI’d rather own or rent a twelfth of a home in twelve cities than one home in one city
On Being an Illegible Personand the tyranny of 12-month leases and 30-year mortgages, nomadic living would be no more difficult than static living at the same income level.
On Being an Illegible PersonIdentity starts to anchor to what you are doing rather than who you are
On Being an Illegible PersonTo the stationary eye of the corporation, the nomad appears harder to hire, manage or pay
On Being an Illegible Personis that the paths to and from the focal points are generally very efficient; often shortest/cheapest paths. A good story doesn’t dawdle

Why GitHub is not your CV – The If WorksThis obligation to work is so ingrained in our culture that people feel bad about taking a break, even when explicitly encouraged to do so
Why GitHub is not your CV – The If WorksIn other words, that you will put in unpaid overtime on demand and without question, because your job is your primary source of emotional fulfilment. (Or, you’ve been emotionally blackmailed into this frame of mind by abusive and over-expectant bosses
Why GitHub is not your CV – The If Worksentire industries are completely inaccessible to anyone but the wealthy due to the expectation of unpaid work in the career ladde
Why GitHub is not your CV – The If WorksWithout context, it’s not a program, it’s just text, and at best you can say whether it agrees with your pet style guide
Why GitHub is not your CV – The If WorksAs an extreme example, people occasionally ask for the ‘real’ source code to Berliner, assuming the aforelinked file is not what I actually sat down and typed out
Why GitHub is not your CV – The If Worksyour GitHub profile displays two things: how ‘influential’ you are, and how easily you can be coerced into constantly working
Why GitHub is not your CV – The If WorksBut it won’t be able to solve Level N+1 problems. This is why it’s still occasionally useful to have mathematical geniuses around, instead of taking ten average mathematicians and telling them to work together. And unfortunately, this aspect of intelligence is the bottleneck for lots of interesting things like new inventions, proofs, and discoveries
Things That Are Not Superintelligences | Slate Star CodexYou probably don’t need to work in web accessibility anymore, as you’ve invented strong AI and are now a quintillionaire
