A podcast I listened to today described the "it-girl" internet archetype in a gorgeous phrase: “ a maniacal girl with easy rituals that are quite stressful to uphold.” Lately, my rituals have been more strain than solace. Typically, I come home from work, sweep through the doorway, and head straight for the shower.
