I hate being an adult. I wish I was still sixteen and lost in the excitement of “but do you like me like me?” instead, I’m stuck in the phase of life where compatibility has less to do about chemistry and more to do with if your five year plan intersects with theirs. the decisions we make around relationships, whether to pursue them or end them, is always a reflection of where we are in the moment. in the past three relationships* (defined not as exclusive relationships necessarily, but as a relationship between two people of any modern dating label) I’ve been apart of, they’ve never ended…
