Our journey began with a shared passion of building robots, leading us to build projects like McMaster's first autonomous shuttle. This evolved into founding a successful cinema robotics company, where we pioneered volumetric capture techniques with clients like Netflix and established our own advanced Canadian manufacturing, pioneering novel, low-cost production processes specifically for these complex systems. While proud of that success, our ultimate ambition remained robotics – our original passion. Now, powered by that deep experience in design and manufacturing, and fueled by a successful $11 million funding round alongside our own $1 million commitment (a testament to our conviction), we are revisiting that first love. Through the launch of our new division, Axibo AI, AXIBO is focused squarely on the true frontier: building advanced humanoid robots.
